SUMMER SUNRISE AND SUNSETS on the Equator HUNT 2014 (2nd annual)
February 1 through March 31, 2014 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The theme of this hunt is Calypso Music and Carnival. Inspired by the West Kaiso music of African slaves, the calypso and carnival were born in the French-run plantations of Trinidad.
Calypso has earned its place in history as the national folk song of Trinidad and Tobago and the music of the Caribbean after the emancipation of the slaves. The Mas tradition started in the late 18th century with French plantation owners from Martinique organizing masquerades (mas) and balls before enduring the fasting of Lent.
Carnival in trinidad March 3 and 4 Ash Wednesday is he 5th of March this year.

So get out your drawing boards and thinking caps and decide what colorful piece of Calypso and carnival you are going to give in this hunt.
